Job summary

Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Director of Athletics to provide strategic leadership for its rich athletic program across three campuses. The role reports to the Head of School and works with Athletic Coordinators on the Downtown and Swain Campuses to implement middle school programs.

The Director will set the vision for holistic athletic excellence, develop competitive programs across all levels, and collaborate with the CFO to manage the athletics budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years athletic administration experience at high school or collegiate level.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision for holistic athletic excellence across three campuses.
• Lead development of highly competitive athletic programs.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, and retain high-performing coaches.
• Develop and manage the athletics budget in partnership with the CFO.
• Ensure safety, wellbeing, and academic balance for student-athletes.
