The role oversees budgeting, scheduling, coaching staff development, and family engagement, with strong emphasis on K-16 pipeline collaboration and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Valid state Athletic Director certification or administrative credential (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in athletic administration, head coaching, or school leadership.
• Budget management, event operations, and team management experience.
• Experience with IEP/504/ELL support teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate, and enforce a clear athletic mission aligned with the school’s academic mission.
• Implement high-leverage innovations to improve student performance in athletics.
• Foster a collaborative culture among students, coaches, and families.
• Monitor academic achievement of student-athletes and coordinate with support teams.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate coaching staff; ensure programs meet standards.
• Engage families with timely updates and program schedules.
• Collaborate to create seamless transitions to high school athletics.
