Job summary

The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) seeks a Director to lead and expand its work on antitrust and competition policy from its Washington, DC base. The Director will shape ITIF’s research agenda, engage policymakers and stakeholders, and manage research staff while advancing the relationship between competition, innovation, and economic growth.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
  • At least five years of experience in antitrust, competition policy, or related areas.
  • Expertise in antitrust law and economics and policy debates.
  • Strong written work for policymakers (reports, articles, briefs).
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience managing research projects and staff preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ITIF's antitrust and competition policy research agenda across reports, briefs, op-eds, and comments.
  • Produce rigorous analysis on competition policy, linking antitrust, innovation, and growth.
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and enforcement developments US and internationally.
  • Engage policymakers, officials, industry, academics, and stakeholders.
  • Organize briefings, roundtables, conferences, and public events.
  • Manage research projects from conception to publication, including staff supervision.
  • Contribute to fundraising by developing proposals and donor relations.
  • Represent ITIF in media, debates, and coalitions.
  • Shape ITIF’s public voice on antitrust policy.
