American Action Forum seeks a Technology & Innovation Policy Analyst to work with the Director on researching policy proposals, data sources, and enacted laws in tech and telecom. You will write concise papers and support timely analysis across the policy team.

The role emphasizes quantitative research, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a think-tank environment in Washington DC.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, public policy, political science or related field.
• Broad working knowledge of key tech and telecom issues.
• Proficient with statistical packages (SAS, STATA, or R) or government databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt with little notice.
• Interest in think tank policy solutions benefiting the public.

Responsibilities

• Develop AAF's technology & innovation policy products and proactively pursue research sources.
• Investigate policy questions and succinctly explain key issues.
