Job summary

Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Manager of Policy to lead day-to-day policy management affecting ICT issues, reporting to the SVP of Policy for TDT. You will coordinate across quantum, AI, data governance and platform/intermediary topics in the US and global markets.

The role requires strong writing, strategic thinking and collaboration with government stakeholders, industry and civil society.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and advanced policy education preferred.
• At least five years of work experience on relevant policy issues, preferably in trade associations, business, advocacy or government.
• CIPP certification or similar qualification is a plus.
• Experience on quantum, AI, data policy/governance, cybersecurity or related policy areas is valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support strategic advocacy approaches in policy and regulatory proceedings across global markets.
• Cultivate relations with policy stakeholders at federal/state levels and international partners.
• Prepare written responses, testimony, white papers and policy communications.
• Monitor policy developments across quantum, AI, data governance, platforms, semiconductors and standards.
• Represent ITI in panel discussions and roundtables on relevant technologies and policy issues.
• Identify opportunities for ITI and members to participate in briefings and events.
• Develop and execute policy advocacy strategies in collaboration with ITI teams.
