Job summary

ITI is seeking a Sr. Manager of Policy, Trust, Data, and Technology in Washington, DC to lead policy initiatives across ICT topics.

You will guide advocacy strategies, manage committees, and engage with government officials in the US and internationally on AI, data governance, cybersecurity, and cloud topics. The role requires experience in policy analysis and coalition building, with strong communication skills and international perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in international relations, public policy, law, business, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of three to five years’ work experience on relevant policy issues, preferably in a trade association, business, advocacy or government setting.
• Experience working on issues like AI, online platforms/intermediaries, data policy/governance, cybersecurity and supply chain security, privacy and data protection, cloud computing, or other emerging tech public policy issues.
• Experience in contributing to policy advocacy strategies and in building relationships with policy stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the implementation of advocacy approaches to policy and regulatory proceedings in the US and key markets.
• Build relationships with policy stakeholders in the US and global markets, including government officials, think tanks, associations, and industry players.
• Conduct research and draft comments for regulatory proceedings, including talking points and policy materials.
• Monitor and summarize relevant policy developments in the TDT portfolio.
• Manage one or more member committees or working groups, including agenda and logistics.
• Represent ITI at roundtables or on panels on TDT issues in the US and abroad.
• Engage in direct policy advocacy with government officials.
• Contribute to development of public policy positions and strategies with colleagues.
