Job summary

Greater St. Louis Area Scouting seeks a Director of Development, Annual Giving & Stewardship to lead fundraising campaigns, grow annual giving, and strengthen donor relationships in the St. Louis region. You will drive annual fund revenue, manage campaigns, and oversee donor communications and stewardship programs.

The role focuses on donor engagement, volunteer involvement, and delivering impact reports to leadership, with a mission-driven culture and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years of fundraising, nonprofit development, relationship management, sales, marketing, or related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• CRM/database experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Council's annual giving program and fundraising campaigns.
• Develop strategies to increase donor participation and annual fund revenue.
• Coordinate volunteer fundraising efforts and leadership giving initiatives.
• Plan and execute donor recognition and stewardship programs.
• Create meaningful donor communications, including newsletters, impact reports, and campaign updates.
• Strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, alumni, and community leaders.
• Track fundraising progress and provide reporting to leadership.
