Job summary

Accommodations Plus International (API) is seeking a seasoned Director of Analytics to turn data into insights that guide decision-making across departments. You will lead automation for savings tracking, develop client-facing presentations, and work across teams to optimize room inventory, pricing, and operational workflows.

The role requires a strong data background, collaboration, and a track record of driving meaningful improvements in a fast-paced travel services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (math/econ/CS/IM/stats) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of data mining experience.
• 4+ years in a data analyst role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, and execution of automation for savings tracking.
• Develop PowerPoints to present client savings and achievements clearly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Improve planning and operational processes for room inventory and API Flex Rooms.
• Showcase capabilities, drive adoption of Automation & AI, and build KPIs for departments.
• Interpret data using statistical techniques to inform manpower planning and reporting.
• Analyze airline spend and room usage to optimize inventory management.
• Develop databases and data collection systems to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Create a platform to report hotel rate movement and inventory availability in key markets.
• Acquire data from primary/secondary sources and maintain internal data systems.
• Identify trends in complex data sets and clean data to fix issues.
• Improve sourcing processes to better serve clients.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
