Position Overview

Role Summary

We seek a Director of Analytics to lead and inspire by leveraging marketing, digital, and measurement analytics to uncover insights that enhance customer experience through data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in database marketing, statistical modeling, dashboarding, CRM & media measurement, GA4/GTM, and analytics coding, with a passion for deriving actionable business insights from complex data. The role involves thought leadership, best practices enhancement, stakeholder education, and supporting growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement measurement plans in collaboration with stakeholders to optimize performance.
  2. Lead data science, marketing measurement, and financial analyses initiatives.
  3. Analyze complex marketing and website data to generate clear insights and compelling stories aligned with client objectives.
  4. Mentor and develop team members with expertise in marketing analysis, website analytics, customer segmentation, LTV, and attribution modeling.
  5. Integrate analytical skills with business understanding to inform marketing strategies.
  6. Recommend KPIs and improve measurement capabilities across marketing channels.
  7. Provide ongoing data insights to internal teams and clients.
  8. Oversee deployment of analytics systems, including testing and campaign analysis.
  9. Engage with executive stakeholders to advise on analytics approaches and evaluate outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field.
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience and 7 years in reporting and analytics.
  • Minimum 5 years in marketing/advertising analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in database marketing, economic modeling, data mining, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (GA4/GTM, Adobe, Salesforce, VisualIQ).
  • Understanding of media landscape, attribution, CRM systems, and analytics software (SAS, R, Python).
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Additional Details

Salary up to $175k, depending on skills and experience. The role is based in the Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area with partial in-office requirements.
