Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a strategic engineering leader to guide the Webapp and AI Attack teams. You will translate ambiguous opportunities into sequenced plans with clear outcomes and own the roadmap that aligns customer needs with product priorities and durable engineering investments.

You will build a scalable leadership structure, mentor senior ICs, and ensure reliable mapping across modern applications, including SPAs, while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Webapp and AI Attack engineering teams, setting ownership and goals.
• Define a strategy and roadmap connecting customer needs, product priorities, offensive research, and durable engineering investments.
• Build an effective leadership structure as the organization grows, hiring and coaching engineering managers and technical leaders.
• Ensure reliable mapping of pages, forms, APIs, parameters, and authentication surfaces across modern applications, including SPAs.
• Partner with technical leaders to improve attack coverage and establish benchmarks to prevent quality degradation.
• Set strategy for turning AI/LLM and agentic-system security research into safe, repeatable attack capabilities in NodeZero.
• Guide teams in assessing AI applications, trust boundaries, permissions, tool use, data sources, and deployment patterns.
• Establish quality standards for testing, reliability, observability, cost management, and operational readiness.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate ambiguous opportunities into sequenced plans with explicit outcomes.
• Drive complex, cross-team initiatives from planning through production, identifying dependencies and risks early.
• Maintain technical depth to evaluate architecture and system health while enabling senior ICs to own implementation.
