Capital One is seeking a Director of AI Engineering to lead the Intelligent Foundations and Experiences team, delivering responsible AI systems that power real‑time, customer‑facing experiences.

You will partner with engineers, researchers, PMs, and leaders to drive the strategy, secure scalable, audited AI platforms, and mentor teams across multiple product areas. A strong background in AI/ML, cloud, and governance is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree (or Master's) with 6–8+ years in AI/ML algorithm development or related fields.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products and capabilities.
• Oversee design, development, testing, deployment, and observability of AI software components.
• Shape the long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One.
• Foster talent development and maintain a culture of learning and responsible AI.
