Job summary

BeOne Medicines Ltd. is seeking a Director of AI Enablement to design, build, and scale enterprise AI platforms powering analytics and intelligent apps. You will lead RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration, and agentic AI frameworks across Commercial, Medical, and other functions.

Role focuses on AI platform strategy, developer experience, and enabling teams to transition AI from experiments to production-grade capabilities with reusable architecture and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in AI, engineering, data science, statistics, CS.
• 7+ years of AI/ML engineering, platform development, or data engineering.
• Hands-on with RAG architectures and LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience building scalable AI platforms, APIs, and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).
• Experience with LLMOps/MLOps and model lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise AI/ML and GenAI platforms.
• Build scalable, reusable AI services and APIs for rapid use-case deployment.
• Define and implement LLMOps/MLOps practices and CI/CD.
• Architect solutions with vector stores and enterprise data platforms.
• Ensure integration with existing data, CRM, and marketing tech ecosystems.
• Establish frameworks and toolkits for data scientists and engineers.
• Drive self-service AI capabilities and standardized pipelines.
• Improve developer productivity and experimentation velocity.
• Lead internal adoption through documentation and training.
• Design and operationalize RAG architectures for knowledge retrieval.
• Scale agentic AI systems and multi-step orchestration.
• Evaluate LLM strategies (fine-tuning, RAG, hybrid).
• Governance, security, and compliance for AI systems.
