Berger Communities is seeking a Director of Business Transformation to serve as an internal consultant and innovation partner across all departments, identifying opportunities to make workflows faster, simpler, and more effective. This role embeds within teams to observe work as it happens and translate findings into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, Analytics, or related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience, including leading cross-functional projects.
• Passion for AI use in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Spend time embedded within each department to observe how work is actually completed.
• Document current workflows, bottlenecks, and reporting inefficiencies.
• Develop recommendations to improve speed, quality, and employee experience.
• Identify where automation can remove repetitive work and where judgement is needed.
• Evaluate changes against Berger’s brand promise and resident experience.
• Lead internal AI education through workshops and orientation.
