Job summary

phData, a remote-first data and AI consultancy, is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead a multi client portfolio. You’ll translate complex requirements into scalable strategies, shape roadmaps from MVP to scale, and own delivery quality, scope, and financial outcomes.

You’ll recruit and mentor PMs, define AI productivity standards, and collaborate with CDO/CTO/VP of Product to drive measurable business value across US-based and global engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with consulting or advisory background preferred.
• Proven track record leading and managing product managers for delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Experience owning a portfolio of client accounts with scope, delivery, and financial responsibility.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling data or AI products from MVP to production.
• Deep understanding of modern data and AI stack and guiding strategic product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own design, delivery, quality, scope, and financial performance of AI and data product engagements across client accounts.
• Translate complex client requirements into scalable product strategies.
• Define and enforce specification quality, backlog standards, and adoption KPIs.
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and shape multi-phase roadmaps.
• Plan staffing and capacity across the practice and lead recruiting for delivery excellence.
• Own GTM strategy, pipeline targets, and revenue outcomes for product management.
• Lead pre-sales engagements, including discovery sessions and executive workshops.
• Define AI productivity standards and evaluation models across the team.
