Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a Director of Engineering for the AI Control Tower to govern AI models, datasets, and agents across the enterprise. You will lead multi-product areas, shipping 1.0 and driving durable adoption in a fast-moving environment.

You will build and scale an engineering team, set AI-native standards, and collaborate with product, design, and partner teams to deliver coherent enterprise experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Startup experience at a small company with hands-on building and shipping a product.
• Proven experience driving adoption of a 1.0 or early-stage product.
• Deep technical foundation in cloud-native SaaS, multi-tenant architectures, large-scale API design (REST/gRPC), Kubernetes orchestration, multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm).
• Strong understanding of database schema design and data modeling for AI/enterprise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for AICT product areas and translate product requirements into technical plans.
• Drive the arc from 1.0 release to meaningful customer adoption with fast iteration.
• Set AI-native engineering standards across development, reviews, and deployment.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and partner teams to ship coherent experiences.
