Job summary

Vizient seeks an experienced leader to drive the maturation of its AI Intelligent Automation organization, translating strategy into an executable portfolio that delivers measurable business value. You will own portfolio management, budgeting, governance, and performance reporting while aligning investments with enterprise objectives.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise technology or automation leadership, plus 5+ years of people leadership.

Qualifications

Requires experience in enterprise technology or automation leadership.
Experience with portfolio management, budgets, staffing, governance, and vendors.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional technology programs from initiation through delivery.

Responsibilities

Own enterprise automation intake, assessment, prioritization, and portfolio governance.
Manage roadmap planning, business demand, and portfolio sequencing.
Lead workforce planning, hiring, contractor strategy, and resource allocation.
Own operational budgets, licensing, vendor management, and financial reporting.
Partner with business stakeholders to define priorities and measure business value.
Monitor portfolio KPIs, operational health, customer satisfaction, and ROI.
Provide executive reporting and regular portfolio updates.
Ensure governance and AI-DLC compliance and operational excellence.
Identify and remove delivery risks with engineering leadership.
Drive continuous improvement and organizational maturity.
Develop integrated project plans, RAID logs, and executive status reporting.
