Job summary

Vizient seeks an experienced enterprise AI leader to translate priorities into a capability roadmap, operating model, and optimization recommendations that accelerate governed AI adoption, strengthen quality and reliability, increase reuse, and improve investment efficiency.

You will collaborate with senior technical and functional leaders to identify systemic gaps and deliver actionable recommendations that advance scalable AI capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software or enterprise tech leadership.
• Experience shaping enterprise technology strategies, capability roadmaps, and large-scale platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI technologies including LLMs, agentic systems, and governance.
• Excellent executive communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide technical leadership to integrate, assess, and optimize AI capabilities across Vizient's AI Optimization & Delivery organization.
• Develop an 18- to 24-month enterprise AI capability roadmap, maturity, risks, and investments.
• Establish cross-functional capability and ownership models with clear decision rights and interfaces.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and platforms to identify opportunities for standardization and investment.
• Develop organization-wide maturity and performance measurement frameworks for AI adoption and reuse.
• Advise executive leadership on AI capability decisions and value realization.
