Job summary

BMO is seeking an AI Architecture leader to define reference architectures, drive GenAI adoption, and guide enterprise AI strategy across business units. You will design AI-enabled platforms, oversee governance, and lead teams delivering secure, scalable AI solutions.

As a senior director, you will collaborate with technology and risk teams, influence executives, and ensure responsible AI practices while delivering measurable business value for BMO's digital experiences and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing AI architectures and platforms.
• Expertise in cloud, security, and governance for AI systems.
• Proven leadership of large, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect AI IT systems integrating business processes and AI capabilities.
• Plan and optimize AI-enabled capabilities including GenAI and intelligent automation.
• Ensure integrated AI architecture across cloud/on-premises and customer channels.
• Establish governance, security, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI practices.
• Lead enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives with cross-functional engagement.
