Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation seeks an Academic Advising Manager to lead and develop advising systems for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. The role drives strategic planning, staff coaching, and policy alignment to improve student progression and success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and progressive leadership experience in academic advising, student success, enrollment management, or related function.
• Experience supervising and developing managers or leaders, including establishing performance expectations and accountability.
• Evidence of effective communication and ability to think strategically to translate strategy into operational priorities.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for academic advising systems serving undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students across MLFC.
• Establish and continuously improve college-wide advising practices, service standards, workflows, policies, and operating expectations.
• Lead strategic and operational planning for advising services, anticipating enrollment trends and program changes on staffing, capacity, systems, and service delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Associate Directors responsible for pathway-based advising teams; establish clear expectations and measures of team effectiveness.
• Build strong partnerships with academic units and university partners to address barriers to student progression and improve the overall student experience.
