Job summary

University of Maryland, College Park’s Office of Advancement Communications seeks a Program Director to lead governance and strategic rollout of Salesforce Marketing Cloud across UR. The role collaborates with OMC, alumni relations, donor relations, and campus partners to shape messaging architecture for the Forward campaign.

You will manage OAC staff and vendors, develop audience-centered communications, and ensure data-driven storytelling that advances engagement and philanthropy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Seven years of professional communications or marketing experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise marketing automation platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for implementing and sustaining long-term governance of SFMC across UR teams.
• Contribute to the strategic implementation of the Forward campaign marketing and communications plan.
• Fortify internal communication infrastructure for UR and manage OAC staff and vendor partners.
