Job summary

Centerville Health and Rehab in Dayton, OH seeks a Director of Admissions and Marketing to own the census through hospital referrals, inquiries, and tours. The role requires SNF/LTC admissions expertise and strong payer verification skills.

You will coordinate with the DON, DSS, and therapy team to ensure timely admissions and discharge planning, while marketing the community across Dayton and Centerville. Excellent relationship management is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Director of Admissions and Marketing in a SNF/LTC setting is required.
• Deep understanding of admissions, referrals, and payer processes.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and managed care in SNF admissions.

Responsibilities

• Own the admissions process from first call to signed paperwork and schedule bed availability.
• Build and maintain referral relationships with hospital case managers, physicians, and senior living communities in Dayton.
• Manage bed availability and referral response times to avoid lost referrals.
• Verify payer sources (Medicare, Ohio Medicaid, managed care, private pay) and coordinate authorizations.
• Give tours to families and follow up on every inquiry until a decision is made.
• Plan and run community marketing activities: outreach visits, events, materials, social media in Centerville and Dayton.
• Track referrals, conversions, census and report weekly to the Administrator.
• Collaborate daily with the DON, DSS and therapy team to ensure clinical appropriateness and discharge planning starts day one.
