FutureCare in Irvington, NJ is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead the process of admitting clients from community hospitals and other health care agencies. You will work to maintain census targets, verify insurance eligibility, and communicate Medicare/Medicaid options to families.

You will design marketing plans to educate the community about services, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with physicians and discharge planners.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in the healthcare and/or marketing field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to relate to families, residents, physicians, referral sources, and community partners.
• Ability to gather, manage, and verify confidential financial and health information.
• Ability to expand and maintain a solid patient referral base.
• Ability to market the facility’s services to the community.

Responsabilidades

• Lead admission processes from community hospitals and health care agencies to the facility.
• Maintain or exceed budgeted census and patient mix; verify insurance eligibility (Medicare/Medicaid and private).
• Meet with families to discuss services and health-care needs of residents.
• Design and implement a marketing plan to educate the community and referral sources about the facility.
