Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore seeks a Director of Admissions to lead admissions from the community, hospitals, and other health care agencies. You will work to maintain census levels, verify eligibility, and engage families about services and resident needs.

You will design marketing strategies to educate the community and referral sources, focusing on the adult geriatric population, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in healthcare/marketing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admission of clients from the community, area hospitals, or other healthcare agencies to the facility.
• Maintain or exceed the budgeted census and patient mix.
• Meet with families to discuss services and health-care needs of residents.
• Design and implement a marketing plan to educate the community and expand referrals.
