Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Director for Admissions to lead admissions operations, oversee recruitment, enrollment, and compliance, and manage staff, budgets, and strategic initiatives.

Under minimal supervision from the Vice President for Student Affairs, the director will develop policies, drive a comprehensive recruitment plan, oversee testing and application processing, and coordinate with internal and external partners to advance enrollment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of related experience; degree may be substituted.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Experience with Ellucian and Salesforce TargetX is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages admissions activities for new and re-entering students.
• Oversees financial/budget operation of the department.
• Monitors staff to ensure policy compliance and process adherence.
• Develops policies and procedures to meet program goals.
• Manages recruitment planning and outreach activities.
• Directs processing of applications and oversees testing.
• Maintains relationships with staff, agencies, and the public.
