Job summary

University of Georgia is seeking a Student Services Director to lead College-wide student services and academic program administration. You will establish consistent processes, service standards, and student-facing practices in collaboration with program directors, academic leadership, and central university offices.

You will oversee staff workflows and provide escalation support for complex student matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent plus 10 years of professional experience including 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in higher education student services or academic program administration preferred.
• Familiarity with UGA systems, policies, and procedures; ability to supervise and develop professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises advising staff and coordinates workload across college departments.
• Directs administrative support for student activities and programs including degree progression and advisement processes.
• Coordinates recruitment and retention communications and distributes program information across units.
• Organizes college-wide student events such as orientations, graduation, and student organization activities.
• Directs CAPA entries, related committees, and special projects to support student services and programs.
