Burlington Stores is seeking a Director of Accounts Payable to lead merchandise and expense payables, vendor master maintenance and deduction resolution. The role includes setting objectives, policies and performance metrics, mentoring staff, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include month-end close, system testing, audits, and reporting, plus developing a best-in-class AP function with lean processes.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience: 8–10 years of accounts payable experience, including 4–5 years in management; retail experience preferred.

• Oversee accounts payable operations for Merchandise and Expense AP.
• Manage vendor master maintenance and deduction research & resolution.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, audits, and SOX compliance.
• Develop and implement AP policies and processes, drive efficiency.
