Estes Forwarding Worldwide in Richmond, VA seeks a Director of Accounting to lead high-volume AP, AR, and cash applications, driving accuracy and timely financial reporting.

You will optimize procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with finance, operations, and IT to scale the business. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in accounting leadership are required; U.S. work authorization is needed.

Formación

• Leadership experience in high-volume accounting operations.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 BC and related reporting capabilities.
• Experience building and scaling accounting teams and partnering with cross-functional groups.

Responsabilidades

• Direct strategic operations of AP, AR, and cash application to ensure accurate processing.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Optimize order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows through automation and process improvements.
• Oversee application of customer payments and resolution of unapplied cash and billing discrepancies.
• Formulate and enforce internal controls and collections strategies to minimize bad debt.
• Govern vendor relationships and internal payment policies for compliance.
• Lead and develop accounting staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT for enterprise-wide systems integration.
• Comply with C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
