Job summary

Peaks Renewables seeks a Director of Accounting & FP&A to build and lead the finance function across a growing RNG platform. The role will own GAAP reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closes for project entities and the consolidated platform.

The position will drive an ERP implementation (SAP), align Peaks’ reporting with Summit standards, and collaborate with leadership, lenders, and partners to translate operating results into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred, MBA a plus.
• Minimum twelve years in accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Seven years’ experience leading month-end close, planning, or financial reporting.
• Experience in RNG, renewables, infrastructure, or project-finance-based business preferred.
• Experience leading or playing a central role in an ERP implementation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting & FP&A function for Peaks Renewables and consolidate with Summit.
• Own the monthly close for project entities and platform, with GAAP-compliant statements.
• Oversee ERP implementation as business owner, including data migration and user adoption.
• Develop and manage annual budget, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Provide financial insight to leadership, lenders, and stakeholders; manage intercompany accounting.
