Job summary

Peaks Renewables, a growing renewables platform and subsidiary of Summit Utilities, seeks a Director of Accounting & FP&A to build and scale the finance function for RNG projects. The role combines hands-on leadership with process design, close, budgeting, and reporting across project entities and the consolidated platform.

Based in Fayetteville, AR or Maine with a hybrid arrangement, you will own GAAP reporting, ERP implementation, planning cycles, and financial modeling while partnering

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus.
• Minimum twelve years in accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting & FP&A function, building processes, controls, close and planning calendars.
• Own monthly close for project entities and consolidated platform; produce GAAP statements.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, consolidation, and reporting aligned with Summit standards.
• Manage ERP implementation, including data migration, chart of accounts, and user adoption.
• Own annual budget, reforecasts, and long-range plan; drive driver-based planning.
