Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director of OI&A Commercial Analytics to lead a strategic analytics program for the U.S. Obesity business.

You will translate complex market, customer, patient, and performance data into clear business recommendations and influence senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Medical. This on-site role is based at the Thousand Oaks campus, with flexible commuter options and an emphasis on executive storytelling.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Masters or Bachelor with analytics experience as per Basic Qualifications.
• Ability to translate complex evidence into actionable recommendations and trade-offs.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and communicating with executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic analytics advisor to senior commercial leadership.
• Own and evolve the secondary analytics agenda for the U.S. Obesity business.
• Integrate internal and external data sources to generate insights on behavior and performance.
• Translate findings into recommendations shaping brand strategy and market development.
• Lead executive performance management and high-priority analyses.
• Partner across functions to align assumptions and inform decisions.
• Direct internal and external analytical resources and set priorities.
• Advance analytics capabilities with new data sources and AI tools while ensuring compliance.
