Qualificações

• Minimum 7 years’ progressive leadership experience in nursing education, professional development, workforce development, organizational effectiveness, or healthcare operations preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience with responsibility for strategic planning and program development preferred.
• Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, education, organizational development, business administration, public health, or a related field required.
• Doctoral degree in nursing, education, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or a related field required.
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and executes strategies for nursing education, professional development, innovation, professional practice, workforce development, and nursing excellence aligned with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
• Oversees nursing education programs, competency management, onboarding, transition-to-practice programs, continuing education, and leadership development initiatives.
• Leads professional practice, evidence-based practice, nursing research, and scholarly activities that advance clinical excellence, patient outcomes, and professional growth.
• Establishes structures that support professional governance, shared decision-making, leadership development, and succession planning across nursing services.
• Advances nursing excellence initiatives and professional recognition programs that support achievement of organizational quality, engagement, and professional practice goals.
• Cultivates a culture of inquiry, innovation, continuous improvement, inclusion, and lifelong learning throughout nursing services.
• Partners with academic institutions, professional organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen workforce development and professional growth opportunities.
• Collaborates with clinical, operational, quality, informatics, and executive leaders to integrate evidence, innovation, technology, and best practices into care delivery and practice transformation initiatives.
• Utilizes data, outcomes, and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and to drive strategic improvements in education, professional development, and professional practice outcomes.
• Directs departmental operations including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, staffing, and performance management to ensure achievement of organizational objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
