Job summary

Vallum Associates in Houston, TX is seeking a Director of Nuclear Origination/Business Development to drive growth across North America’s energy market.

You will lead relationships with utility, hyperscalers and industrial customers, and shape long-term commercial strategy while coordinating cross-functional teams through RFIs, RFPs and negotiations. A strong track record in origination and power procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• MBA preferred.
• 10+ years' Origination/Offtaker/PPA experience in power generation or energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with utility, hyperscalers and industrial customers across the nuclear market.
• Lead business development and customer engagement activities from initial opportunity through proposal and contract stages.
• Identify customer requirements and develop compelling commercial value propositions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, licensing, finance and supply chain to support customer pursuits.
• Lead presentations, workshops, RFIs, RFPs and commercial negotiations.
• Mentor and support Business Development professionals where required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
