ENERCON is seeking a Director, Components, Piping & CAD to lead the Components, Piping, and CAD organizations supporting our Commercial Nuclear, New Nuclear, and Federal Nuclear businesses. This hybrid role manages strategy, staffing, and technical capability across multiple locations including San Luis Obispo, CA and others.

The Director will drive organizational leadership, workforce planning, and high-quality design delivery, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and productivity targets are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as specified.
• PE license preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering/design experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering/design organizations.
• Experience in component/piping/CAD and 3D modeling.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.
• Experience with workforce planning, recruiting, and talent development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Components, Piping, and CAD organizations and set long-range capability plans aligned with client needs.
• Develop managers and technical leaders; build a strong talent pipeline.
• Drive performance focusing on safety, quality, schedule, budget, productivity, and accountability.
• Plan workforce capacity across three nuclear markets to support current and future work.
• Champion 3D modeling, digital engineering, standardization, and integrated design practices.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align resources with project priorities.
