Job summary

Radiant, based in El Segundo, California, seeks a Director of Business Development to build and manage a national pipeline and originate strategic B2B deals with major clients. You will work with executive leadership to advance opportunities from initial contact through binding agreements, including tailoring proposals and negotiating terms.

The role requires 7–10+ years in BD or related sales, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel and work onsite.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to source national opportunities independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• US Citizenship or green card holder.
• Ability to travel and attend in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Independently source and qualify leads across commercial verticals, primarily Fortune 500.
• Originate and lead client conversations from first contact through discovery, proposal, and term sheet.
• Support negotiation of commercial documents toward binding agreements.
• Build and maintain a pipeline with emphasis on quality over quantity.
• Develop tailored proposals and external communications.
• Learn product basics, siting and licensing to credibly discuss deals.
