Job summary

Bank of Montreal seeks a senior facilities engineer to operate, maintain, and optimize electrical, mechanical, and other infrastructure for critical environments. You will act as the main technical contact for emergency and ongoing engineering support, driving uptime and reliability across owned and leased facilities.

Lean on extensive experience to assess risks, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while advancing strategic facility initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in building infrastructure system design electrical and/or mechanical engineering for critical facilities.
• Knowledge of construction codes, facilities management, safety, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and other infrastructure for maximum uptime.
• Provide emergency and operational engineering support for Critical Environments infrastructure.
• Lead risk assessments, analyse data, and propose improvements to system performance.
• Collaborate across teams to align values, strategy and achieve business objectives.
