Job summary

Shell in the United States, Houston, seeks a Director of Retail Pricing to lead the North America Retail Power Pricing function across ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO. You will own pricing execution, methodology, and team development to support profitability and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or related discipline
• 5+ years of Retail Power pricing experience in competitive North American power markets
• Experience leading analytical, commercial, or pricing teams
• Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, cost build-ups, market fundamentals, and risk drivers
• Experience with one or more organized power markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO)

• Lead NA Retail Power Pricing team across ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO
• Own delivery of timely, accurate, and competitive pricing solutions
• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team
• Establish and govern pricing methodologies, models, and analytical standards
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing capabilities, processes, tools, and operating models
• Identify and execute strategic pricing initiatives
• Partner with Sales, Portfolio Management, Risk, Regulatory, and Technology teams
• Champion automation and emerging technologies to modernize pricing
