Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Alameda, CA is seeking a Director of Commercial Forecasting & Insights to lead North America forecasting, analytics, and strategic planning. This onsite role will partner with Finance, Marketing, Market Access, and Sales to deliver forecasts, insights, and performance analyses.

You will manage a team of managers and external partners, drive optimization of forecasting models, and present to senior leadership, shaping growth strategies across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of experience with forecasting, analytics, strategic planning, or FP&A in life sciences or related fields.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting for US/Canada, including quarterly and long-range forecasts, launches, and scenario planning.
• Deliver actionable insights by integrating performance, market dynamics, forecasting outputs, and competitive intelligence.
• Lead executive presentations and business reviews for senior leadership.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of managers, analysts, and external partners.
