Job summary

Abbott in Alameda, CA, is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with Commercial & Marketing teams, focusing on actuals reporting, forecasting for Plan, rLBE and Confirm processes. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines while developing analytics to support submissions and business decisions.

The role requires strong people leadership, analytical skills, and a track record in financial planning and reporting within a large healthcare company. Onsite in Alameda, CA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of finance and supervisory experience (FP&A, Cost/General Accounting and Financial Reporting)
• Experience at country level is a plus
• Ability to plan, implement and administer financial information and control systems

Responsibilities

• Strengthen North America P&L & Balance Sheet forecasts for Plan, rLBE and Confirm
• Ensure timely, well-presented sales results and high-quality P&L and balance sheet projections
• Identify meaningful analytics and present them to North America Commercial leadership
• Prepare LBE deck and simplify submissions for executive-ready slides
• Support long-range planning and portfolio management with profitability tracking
• Develop tools for ROI-focused commercial program proposals and training to improve financial understanding
