Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Director of MSBA & MSM Programs to provide operational leadership across the MSBA and MSM portfolios. You will lead a professional team, collaborate with faculty and external partners, and ensure excellence in student experience and program delivery from admissions through graduation.

You will oversee onboarding, orientation, advising, and cross-program events, while directing budgets and external partnerships to advance the programs’ reputation and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-8 years of experience in academic program management required.
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of the student journey and cocurricular events for the MSBA & MSM programs.
• Collaborate with Tepper Masters Career Center on career-related programming.
• Resolve complex student concerns and partner with faculty and campus resources as needed.
• Create and update procedures for program events and student experiences.
• Monitor student feedback, academic performance, and cocurricular engagement.
• Benchmark trends to inform program direction and strategic planning.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and advising for specialty masters students.
• Manage budgets and forecasting with the finance and business office.
• Represent the programs externally at alumni events, corporate visits, and partnerships.
