Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD in a health-related field.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
• At least six years of clinical care and clinical teaching experience.
• At least five years of funded research in Parkinson's disease or related Movement Disorders.
• California medical license or eligibility per Medical Board of California.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care to movement disorder patients at UCSD facilities.
• Mentor junior faculty and teach graduate students, residents and fellows.
• Lead the Parkinson and Other Movement Disorders Center (POMDC) and deploy philanthropic endowment programs.
• Lead program development and engage with translational and clinical research initiatives.
