Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a leader to establish and direct a national team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) to articulate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to physicians, scientists, and KOLs through in-person engagement.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, training, and ensuring MSLs are current on company technology, with travel across the U.S. to promote products and support patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent training/experience).
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) to communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients through face-to-face interactions.
• Day-to-day management of the MSL team.
• Recommend national staffing plans.
• Create and coordinate training and enablement to keep MSLs current on company technology.
• Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
• Serve as a conduit between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences on products and needs to enhance patient care, research developments, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct medical/scientific education to support field organization and increase presence/market awareness.
• Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (regional or national).
• Attend POA/commercial pitch meetings and other relationship-building onsite meetings.
• Promote CMI to physician sites across the U.S.
• Support/present at molecular tumor boards.
• Read and understand scientific/technical literature for customer engagement.
• Support special projects as needed; assist field training for contracted speakers (Speaker’s Bureau) and function as a field trainer.
• Participate in regional/national speaking engagements, select tradeshows, and sales meetings; provide commercial input/review of marketing materials.
