Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood is seeking a Director of Mission Critical to lead national electrical construction programs, with a focus on large data center projects and complex client engagements. The role requires strategic oversight, risk management, and a track record of delivering safety, schedule, and budget performance.

You will mentor project leaders, collaborate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with company growth objectives

Qualifications

• Experience leading mission-critical construction and data center projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage scheduling, budgeting, forecasting.
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites.
• Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for mission-critical projects.
• Establish priorities and accountability across project teams.
• Review plans, contracts, schedules, forecasts, and risk profiles.
• Lead project reviews to monitor safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Drive a culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Align construction, procurement, logistics, and field operations.
• Mentor Project Managers and develop future leaders.
• Manage financial performance and risk mitigation.
