Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking a Director to join the Launch Operations team, driving CI across fulfillment centers and cross-functional domains. You will design and operationalize the Ops CI function, hire and mentor managers, and maintain high-impact project backlogs with senior leadership visibility.

You will own a portfolio including merchant launches, data analytics, and capability development, applying Lean/Six Sigma approaches to deliver measurable improvements and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years in e-commerce fulfillment operations, inventory management, and process optimization.
• 3+ years in a leadership role directly managing operations programs and projects.
• Lean program leadership/certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven insight.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Ops CI function across ShipMonk’s network.
• Design intake processes, governance, and reporting cadences.
• Hire and develop Ops CI managers embedded across sites.
• Drive KPI tracking for CI outcomes: cost savings, throughput, quality.
• Lead change management and training for CI initiatives.
• Oversee merchant launches, analytics, and new service offerings.
