Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Project Controls, focusing on MEP estimation and cost management for complex capital projects. You will lead budgeting, cost reporting, and risk analysis across large programs, interfacing with senior project managers, clients and stakeholders.

You will drive cost control activities from preconstruction through closeout, leveraging Excel and NECA resources, and you will influence decision-making with executive-level presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 15+ years of capital project cost management experience.
• Electrical and mechanical estimating experience with complex drawings and take-offs.
• Experience in a matrixed organization and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management program for large capital programs across divisions 21/22/23 and 26/27/28.
• Develop budgets, cost plans, benchmarks and cost studies and provide detailed cost analyses.
• Prepare executive-ready cost reports and risk mitigations for stakeholders.
• Oversee earned value components and project controls plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients and engineers on cost risk and opportunities.
