Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls, Electrical Estimator to manage cost control activities on large electrical projects. You will work with senior project managers, clients, and stakeholders to support strategic cost plans from early lifecycle phases to closeout.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of cost management experience on capital projects, with electrical estimating expertise and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cost management on capital projects.
• Electrical estimating experience including ability to interpret complex electrical drawings.
• Direct experience working in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Expertise using Excel.
• Experience with data centers and life science preferred.
• Experience within the construction industry required, candidates with additional life sciences experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish the cost management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for electrical scope.
• Utilize NECA resources to evaluate labor productivities.
• Integrate all plans and cost components into an integrated cost plan.
• Lead analysis to project manager, client, CM, or other third parties on cost risk, issues, and mitigations.
