Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology required.
• Licensed Psychologist with current licensure.
• 5–7 years of progressive behavioral health leadership experience.
• 3+ years managing a site, program, or regional operation preferred.
• Experience in correctional healthcare, community mental health, hospital systems, or integrated healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health regulations, standards, and accreditation processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for behavioral health operations for assigned facility.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Monitor program performance, quality metrics, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and policies.
• Lead and support site, clinicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Conduct regular audits to evaluate operational effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Oversee staffing models, workforce planning, recruitment support, and retention strategies.
• Partner with HR and clinical leadership on hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Review KPIs and behavioral health reports to guide improvements.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, correctional, and administrative leadership for integrated care.
• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
• Serve as liaison between site staff and regional teams.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and leadership initiatives.
• Provide on-call support for the facility 24/7; travel may be required.
