Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Dir, Capital Projects to lead all stages of capital project development for the generation fleet, including planning, design, permitting, construction and start-up. The role emphasizes delivering projects safely on schedule and within budget, reporting to the VP of Capital Projects.

This field-first leadership role requires traveling 75% or more to asset sites, guiding contract delivery (EpCM, Multi-Prime) and ensuring alignment with Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years power generation capital project development and management experience.
• Mega-projects or portfolios exceeding $1B in capital value.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project through Stage Gate Process with deliverables.
• Manage project teams across Capital Projects and support groups.
• Lead procurement, negotiation and administration of engineering, procurement, construction and equipment supply agreements.
• Collaborate with Power Generation leadership to ensure performance and staffing.
• Coordinate with Regulatory to secure certifications and testimonies.
• Coordinate with Environmental for permitting requirements and maintain contractor roster.
