Job summary

Washington Hospital seeks a Director of Medical Staff Services to provide leadership, oversight, and direction for credentialing, privileging and medical staff governance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Five years leadership in Medical Staff Services at the Manager or Director level.
• Seven to ten years of credentialing and privileging experience.
• Experience with NCQA standards and multi-site or health-system environments preferred.
• Experience with delegated credentialing and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Medical Staff Services functions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Educate and consult on credentialing and privileging for physicians and APPs.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Hospital Leadership.
• Manage department operating budget and department funds.
• Report to MEC, Board and Hospital Leadership with clear data.
