Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital seeks a Medical Staff Coordinator to coordinate provider credentialing, privileging, appointment and reappointment, governance activities, and regulatory compliance.

This role acts as primary resource for Medical Staff leaders, administration, and external credentialing bodies. You will maintain confidential provider records, coordinate activities with departments, and support committees while upholding bylaws and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of credentialing, privileging, and governance processes.
• Familiarity with bylaws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial appointment, credentialing, and privileging for providers.
• Collect, verify, evaluate, and maintain provider credentials.
• Prepare files for review by medical leadership and committees.
• Support OPPE/FPPE and quality requirements.
• Maintain confidential provider information and documentation.
