Job summary

Advantage HQ is seeking a Director of Media Operations to own the operating performance of a fast-growing media organization. You will build the Media Operations function, establish the operating model, and lead senior leaders to deliver scalable systems that improve productivity, quality, margins, and growth.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, growth, or a related field.
• 4+ years leading multiple media teams or managers.
• Extensive e-commerce and performance marketing experience.
• Experience managing significant media portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience building operating systems and organizational processes.
• Experience with workforce planning, hiring, performance management, and leadership development.
• Strong commercial and analytical judgment.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership.
• Experience in an agency, growth, performance marketing, or high-volume client environment.

Responsibilities

• Define how Media Operations should work across teams, clients, and leadership levels.
• Establish operating model, responsibilities, standards, KPIs, and management rhythms.
• Lead Media Operations Managers, Senior Managers, and other senior leaders.
• Build scalable systems for media execution, QA, reporting, training, escalation, and resource planning.
• Plan hiring and capacity with executives to support growth while controlling cost and complexity.
• Link operational decisions to client outcomes and company economics.
• Collaborate with the executive team to align Media Operations with business direction.
